I liked this medal but the resale market turned out to be a DUD! Now...how do I get rid of this extra one without taking a loss? hah

Take it to a local coin show, someone there may want it. Or hold on to it for about ten years, it might be worth a dollar more I decided to get one, supposed to be shipped soon.

I enrolled for 3 reverse proofs 2 of the others 2023 Morgan, Peace dollars. They are high mintage with plenty left currently. Likely not much flipping potential. I want to reduce the order, only want one each now.

Hold on it it until the melt value exceeds your expense. It should happen eventually, if only as part of the typical cycle.

Got my grades in for the 2 medals I submitted during the WFOM, one came back 69 and one came back 70. I'll let you all guess for fun and not spoil it (you can look it up on PCGS for the answer). No shipment notice yet, hopefully by Friday.

Going to keep the 70 and sell the 69.

Got mine yesterday. The coin looks perfect with magifier, the capsule has a few small dings and light scratches.

Luckily the 69 is the off-center one. I wonder if that affected the grade?

I just received mine today. Looks great.

I'm definitely more a fan of the squishy clamshell packaging than the recent ASE packaging. Although it is enormous compared to the coin.

Yup, the case is huge for one coin. I assume intentional because they'll use this case size for upcoming multiple coin sets? This case doesn't look exactly the same as the hinged case for the Negro league offered earlier in the year.

I am very curious also if that being off center affected the grade. Both looked good in person, that said, them being in capsules don't help when the capsules can have specs of dust on them that can fool you in person.

After watching this video (right up to the part where he started hawking coffee) I pulled mine back out to look for the thinning and off-centered-ness. I guess I got lucky with mine. I do not see the issues that the Youtuber pointed out on mine.
