Note if the same affect is happening on the date and mintmark area is in the same direction then it is Machine Doubling. (first clue it is Machine Doubling) The images are so blurred, it hard to say what you really have. The 1970 DDO's also had a different look that year, on some areas on the date. What most are looking for: What some miss by not knowing they happened this year: Above the '7': https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=mds https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=eds Below the '70': https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=mds https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=eds So to see what you really have, we need clearer images. Thus It helps train the eyes on what to look for. Seeing is understanding.
