Found this.
Halfpenny legend but a very stylised portrait and ship.
Diameter approx 17mm, weight 0.6g
Is it even a coin or is it a token or just toy money ?
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks
Brian.

It is certainly not a coin, the top has been cut back
for some reason. Possibly play money or a game token.

I suspect that was an eyelet with a hole in in it. A small chain was probably used to make cheap jewelry/necklace for kids similar to this one.

Thanks all.
The missing bit of the rim does suggest a tag/eyelet was once there, it is a rough edged scar in the rim. Tend to think is was used as a charm or bracelet piece but it is a rather odd looking thing.
Cheers
Brian.

The rendition of the Golden Hind on the reverse is not too bad. But the E II on the obverse is beyond terrible. Must be from a kids thing.
