Hello CCF!

Looking for thoughts on this 1942-D LWC that only weighs 2.0 grams; it is super thin. It's a bit banged up/damaged but curious to know what type of error it could be. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Agree with acid exposure. Planchet may have been rolled on the thin side to begin with--at the lower end of the tolerance spec.

Yes, due to the fact that the coin was fully struck is indicative that the planchet started out at normal size and weight.
I agree with an acid dip.
