Hello, so I found this penny that does not have copper on it. Is this worth anything? I will attach a picture. Please let me know! Thanks *** Edited by Staff to crop and/or rotate images. Is it the same size as a normal cent,19mm? Looks like it was "stripped" after it left the mint. John1

An accurate weight might provide some additional insight. Thanks.

Need a weight for this one, also a diameter measurement. Is this the accurate color of the coin?

Assuming the color in the photo is accurate and the weight and diameter are as expected, this is a common science experiment. PMD; worth keeping as a curiosity if you're so inclined, but otherwise just one cent.

It is regular size. My scale reads .1 ounce but it's a food scales. It color is like greyish.

A food scale won't work. A scale measuring two digits after the decimal point is necessary for accuracy. (for reference, 1 ounce is close to what a Morgan or Peace dollar would weigh.)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

and your scale needs to be able to measure in grams, not ounces.

When buying a scale for coins get one that goes down to 0.001 grams and can weigh up to 50 grams. They do not cost much. John1

Even if you have a scale like that, it won't be sufficent to weigh the plating.
Further, the weight (within the limits of accuracy) would be the same if it was never plated or stripped of plating with acid.

@imagecoins.... If you need a digital scale sooner, they sell them at any big-retailer, Whatever-Mart. I bought mine for around $20 & it weighs to the 0.00 grams for accuracy.
