Hi

I really thought I got better at looking at double dies vs Machine Doubling but this 1994 D has me guessing as there seems to be depression on the 4 of the date. Also is that a RPM ? OR just Machine Doubling? Appreciate this forum and it's knowledge base !

Your coin is DDD,not MD. Also,RPM's stopped in 1990.And,please use a memory card in your scope.

Yes, die deterioration--and split plating on the mint mark.

Please crop your coins to the edges of your coin.

I agree, the beginnings of split plating.
