Today I ran to my local store to grab some items for breakfast, and this is what I got in the self checkout lane in my change. The question I have about this coin is with the mint mark. It looks thicker than the other S mint marks that I have seen. Anyways, it's a good looking coin so I'm gonna put it in a 2 x 2 and take it out of circulation. I also can't seem to get that spot on Washington's bust to go away. So far I have soaked in Acetone for about 2+hrs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

I found LOTS of proof quarters when I worked at an arcade in the 80s. Kids would get a proof set from Grampa for their birthday and bust the coins out so they could play Pacman a few times.
