Ok, I tend to make trouble for myself when I try to identify a Doubled Die for the obverse of a 1972 S Lincoln Cent. Why you might ask, well there are two classes. There is the regular strike (376,939,188 minted) and a Proof (3,260,998 minted) and I have both 1972 S with trouble identifying my Proof because it's impaired. So I took my best shot and I think it's a Copper Coins, DDO-005. I based it on IGWT showing a clockwise rotation! Because I am lousy in I.D. DDO's hopefully my Pics will help. Regards all.

It's the master die doubling. It shows up well on the N of IN & the slope on the top of the B in LIBERTY. See the very last listing here: http://doubleddie.com/384301.html

It shows up on all mints (P, D, S).
