First of all, I'm posting this from my phone so if it turns out bad let me apologize in advance * This '22 Lincoln Cent was fed to me by the ebay app when I logged on this afternoon. Even on this small screen it looked like it had come from the Dark Side. I wasn't sure where to post it but figured it would be seen here. I'm only posting the link because again "phone". https://www.ebay.com/itm/166645034949I don't know the seller but they have less than 20 feedbacks. Let me know what you think about its authenticity.

Looks rather iffy... Well, looking at the seller's other items, I see a number of the incredibly rare ' L on rim' examples.

The spacing of the 2s looks off to me. I agree with fake.

I'm gonna go out on a ledge and suggest it's in the single size A Air-Tite the seller owns and they just use it for their really good stuff. Anyway I'm glad the stroke didn't kill my counterfeit cells in my brain.
Thanks for looking. -B

Was the reply from AI or "customer service"? They don't do anything either way, just curious.

Jeez, frogger! That's a load of crap. Do they really even look at the coin in question and take into account other things listed? If I were a betting person , I'd wager they only look to make sure ebay rules are followed, not whether the item is authentic. It's said that money isn't counterfeit unless you try to pass it as real. If they keep an eye on it and it's sold, they would be able to have the idiot busted. All too complicated for my damaged brain!

Wow! Look at the porosity on the reverse - must have been the cope (top) of the casting mold. The impurities in the metal being poured usually rises to the surface of casting inside the mold creating the effect of "casting bubbles".

wow 100% fake, the reverse shows those huge 'die cracks' in locations where they normally don't form, are far too obvious and it look like it was cast. On the obverse the last 2 is usually weak not strong as shown on these terrible images. (which is another clue that it is fake - the seller won't give clear images of the coin.) AND only has 21 feedback reports....

I just used the "Report" function and described the issue as best I could. Their reply came back in about half an hour.
