I changed my mind and went for the lottery ticket. I went in at 12:14 and was in by 12:16.

The "Your U.S. Mint order has been confirmed!" email has arrived. I can close that browser tab now.

Best of luck all! If I do get lucky enough to get the privy, I am going to have a hard time not cashing in and then buy a secondary market non-privy version.

Just saw this on another site, "PCGS has already graded 786 of these medals, and 34 (4.3%) are with the privy mark. With only 1794 (2.4%) privy marks of the 75k being minted, I believe our chances have worsened."

Bothersome if they had advanced purchase opportunity. They should have received zero privy marks for the privilege.

I wonder how many of the privy marked medals were set aside for the high mucky mucks at the mint ? Maybe they struck a few "extra" that won't count against the 1794 quantity being released into the wild. . . Were I lucky enough to get one, I would sell it and apply the proceeds towards one of the expensive ASE's ETA: Bumped into a Pre-Order on one of the bullion peddler web sites: For the low, low price of $5,300 you can get a MS70 graded privy mark example. . .

A quick search of ebay shows $2300 - $4100 presale prices for the "230" privys, in auctions from raw in OGP to slabbed MS70.

I hope nobody pays that much for the privy, price will come down after the hype is over in my opinion.

Nah, I still want to keep it. If I got it. Which, of course, I am not anticipating in this version of the timeline.
