Here is my humble AG-3 16-d, still in the NGC slab.

Also seen in my other thread.

Shatsi, are you still looking for a 16-d? There is a really strong ANACS AG-3 up for sale here for $700:

I don't know the seller, but this is probably the strongest AG-3 I've seen in an ANACS slab, especially the reverse. It looks crusty and original too. The reverse lettering appears to be practically complete. I would have considered it if I hadn't already purchased my other one.

johnny54321, thank you. I'm still looking for one. And I agree the coin in the link you provided is strong for the grade and reasonable pricing but I don't like the look of the surface, it doesn't tickle my taste buds:)

No photos of my 16D's but have many of them. Of course I got them way, way back when I was a kid. They cost me $1.50 each and back then a loaf of bread was a Nickeel so a $1.50 was a fortune.
I have NO plastic slabs although I have in the past purchased coins in slabs. I just can not see coins in plastic slabs. Sorry for that you slab people but I'd rather have no holes in my Albums with a piece of paper saying I do have that coin or this coin but not here, but in a piece of plastic somewhere.
When I open an Album, I don't like to see through a slot.
Rest in Peace

This coin in ANY grade is a fantastic investment however, the prospective buyer should take warning that it is one of the most heavily counterfeited coins in numismatics. One should never purchase this coin raw unless you know the traits of a genuine specimen. Stick with PCGS,NGC,or ANACS. That's just my Two Cents worth. BTW, mine is a PCGS AG03.
