NY Islander Pillar of the Community United States 984 Posts	Posted 10/22/2024 2:10 pm I'm not convinced this is a 1989 D DDO-001. There is no DDO-001 A Stage on VV. No notch on the 1. But there definitely is a nice spread on the date. Or is the spread and thickness in the date just Die Deterioration? Your thoughts. Thanks. "We are all flawed, some MD and some PMD." NY Islander Pillar of the Community United States 984 Posts	Posted 10/22/2024 5:18 pm I checked out Coppercoins for this DDO, and YES, there are 7 listed. 5 more listed than Wexler and VV. I agree this is a DDO but based on the bulbous ends on the 1, 9 and 9 I don't see an exact match. Maybe this one is unattributed. Thanks for posting the link @Willburton. For the Philly mint, there are two doubled working hubs for the obverse and two for the reverse. I know the mints had been known to share working hubs between mints but not sure for the 89's. The fact that the Philly shows two of each though, I don't usually spend time messing with them, just chuck them in a roll like I do doubled columns and most class 2 and class 6 wheat DDR's.
