Ive attached a few photos of this 2001 Penny showing links to the example in copper coins 2001P-1DR-006. The die gouges/dots are definitely fun to find and try to get good images. If the community agrees that this is a correct match, then I'm trying to understand how getting these attributed by NGC/PCGS/ANACS or another makes sense.

Copper coin suggests that this 2001 possible error coin in MS 63 or MS65 condition the price is approximately $10. The cost for NGC to attribute is very close to $37. Did I fall of the train somewhere here? This is only relative if the community belives this coin to be a certain DDR.

Thanks for the great help from the community and being long winded. .

I call those bar on column, in this case BOC 7.
I have a ton of them, and I like them. There is very little interest in them though and IMHO none are worthy of slabbing.
As a general rule, and I have typed this a thousand times before...a coin needs a minimum retail value after slabbing of $150 to justify all costs involved in sending it in to a TPG.

I agree
Mostly BOC7 and a few BOC6. There is also the so-called extra body part ones, knees and toes. Like I said I have found a bunch of them in different years and mint marks. I have a few listed as first finds.

Nice DDR, but I agree, a rather common one.

Nice DDR. Not worth slabbing though.

As always appreciate. The best thing is finding and learning how to match or someday find something beyond interesting.
