Anyone seen three dots on silver franklins before? Any significance? I have them on two separate coins.

They are Reed Marks — common on larger coins that bang around against each other.

Agree with above comments, the coin(s) are suffering from hits by other coins. This more than likely happened at the mint when the coins were falling into the collection bins.
