Well since I got outbid on the 1927D $20 double eagle MS-65+ yesterday (Heritage Auctions) (3.84 million) I might put a bid on this...thanks for sharing Unless you're planning on bidding Marve65............

Wow! What an ending. A bidder came out of nowhere and the bids went back and forth till the end. Winning bid was $1,220,000 - $1,342,000 w/BP.

Hammered at $1,220,000. $1,372,500 with Buyer's Premium! I wasn't the buyer.  P.S. Marve65's amount with Buyer's Premium is correct. GC's webpage is listing it with a 12.5% BP which can't be because at this price level you must pay by wire or eCheck.

GC gives a "Discount" on the BP if you pay a certain way . With that much money involved I'm sure it would be some kind of money transfer which would activate the discount.
