I am only a couple of years into coin collecting and this is the nicest Wheat penny I have come across. It's so pretty! What is the error on the edges? Where it looks like it's clumpy and not smooth (specifically on the rotated pic, near the date). I also think there is doubling and the 9 looks weird. This was in a loomis roll of 2023 d pennies. Is this something I should have graded? Thanks in advance!
No. I believe, like many coming here, the internet has you thinking the grading companies are something they are not. A lot of people lose a lot of money b/c of that. Use the following to understand the companies better and not lose money to them (like so very many people do). https://www.coincommunity.com/colle...t-graded.asp

Better pics needed: EASILY force your camera to focus properly on the coin.
Not taking the time to read the steps and understand them will guarantee failure

Anytime you think you have a doubled die., go to varietyvista.com and find an EXACT match. If you do not find an EXACT match (every picture per entry shown must match), then you have a non-collectible form of cdoubling like Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration Doubling.
To the polite replies, here is the best focused pic I could get with my phone. I will go to a local coin shop and see if I can get clearer pictures and post those.
Thank you for the polite responses..they are encouraging to someone new to the game.
