1943 Over 1942 Steel Cent? - Coin Community Forum

joeturbo26 Pillar of the Community United States 1193 Posts	Posted 10/19/2025 08:44 am Take a look at this 1943-S steel cent. What do you guys think is going on? It has some of the markers for a 43/42 but not quite sure if it has all of them. If not a 43/42, what else could be going on here? I actually sold this coin raw to someone who had it slabbed with ICG, then I bought it back to maybe have it cross over to PCGS but then I realized there was something strange with the date.
