1864 2cent Confirm PMD - Coin Community Forum

Dowhat Pillar of the Community United States 876 Posts	Posted 01/04/2026 11:01 am This 1864 2 cent piece looks like PMD on the obverse at 9k. Just want some confirmation. I speculate that a piece of southern shot struck it in the the pocket of a Yank preventing further injury. Thanks for having a look.
