Anyone else collect the modern Morgan and Peace dollars? I'm not sure why were isn't much love for them from the collectors that I talk to, a lot more negativity than positive stuff. Don't know if it's gate keeping, the investment from the old Morgan and Peace dollar collectors to get certain graded coins not wanting the new releases to interfere with their "investment." I'm happy that I was able to grab the new releases from the U.S. Mint when they were released. I have them all in my Dansco album, and hopefully get to keep collecting all the yearly releases. It's like the Type II ASE release, I have been fortunate enough to grab them all from the U.S. Mint to work on my complete Type II collection.

I collect the different types, by the end of this year I'll have 4 of each
You need a set of the 2022 Fiji Reverse Proofs :)

That's a nice collection you got going. We all collect what we want based on what we can afford. I got all the 2021 Morgan and Peace, thought it was very cool they made them again, not for circulation. I got the 2023s too, love the reverse proofs, but stopped there. I decided not to have them as part of my annual budget. I like the original Morgan and Peace with their natural luster and VAM numbers. I have a mix of collectible coins and just bullion stacking but mostly lean to the stacking side.

Getting the 2021's was important for me and a good learning experience. Anyone who went through that should remember it when ordering from the Mint on drop days now. Today's experience is a stroll through the park by comparison. I did manage to get them all. First, I wish it was only for one year. I'd have to look back on what I got in 2023, I have the reverse set for sure. But that's where I stopped. To much competition in my mind and the ASE always wins. I am tempted to get the Enhanced Reverse of both this year.

I add the BU Morgan dollar to my year set and the Peace dollar to my Peace dollar set. The proof pair for 2023 are in my commemorative album as there were no commemoratives issued that year. The reverse proofs remain in their boxes in the safe. If there is no commemoratives issued this year I will use the 2026 Peace and Morgan reverse proof dollars in the commemorative album.

I have kept up on them but thinking about cancelling my subscription due to the price increases. I think I would rather spend that money on a nice classic Morgan or Peace dollar. I will likely get the enhanced uncirculated then drop it.

Boba Debt, those aren't from the U.S. Mint but some private company so I didn't want them. They're just bullion rounds and not actual numismatic coins. When the HSN had them on for $1799.99 for the 6-coin set, I was shocked at the price and it catered to those who didn't know better. I'm surprised they were able to get away with it by put One Dollar on the coins since only the U.S. Mint can have legal authority to produce legal tender coins. The person that created the Norfed Liberty Dollar was convicted on creating counterfeit coins resembling U.S. legal tender.

I knew that when I bought my set, a local shop had them for $80 each which was pricey back then when silver was about $40 an ounce They are beautiful "coins" and have they have an interesting story. They weigh a full once but are the same diameter as a dollar so they are thicker. I had a time finding air-tite capsules for them.

I only got the first 2 release years.. I'm a "type" collector so after I bought the first year for the UC versions, I went with 2023 for the Proofs and 2025 for the Reverse Proofs I hope the 2026 Enh UC coins are interesting because that add a 4th finish to my collection

I've kept up with the modern Peace issues. My favorite US Coin design.
