I pulled these coins out in particular from our old collection and would like to know if these have any real collector value or just old coins. Thank you! The quarter was put up in a plastic sleeve protector for at least 20 years so I doubt that has come from circulation damage.

None are worth more than face value as all 3 are damaged.
The quarter is 26 years old so it was in the wild for 6 years before was put away.

That dime looks to be a wonderful example of a Dryer Coin.

It could be. Looks the same. I just pulled these out of an old coin box have many other coins too half dollars gold and silver dollars very old and newer varieties of different value coins. These just caught my eye the most.

I agree with the assessment above.

In the future - please post only one coin per thread. That help us to focus the discussion. Thanks!

To CCF! Coin #1 shows hits and dings from circulation. That's PMD. It's also showing Die Deterioration as well. Coin #2 is a Dryer Coin, so that's PMD also. Coin #3 looks like a Struck Through Grease issue, so it's not PMD. Sorry, but I disagree with you, JimmyD. Two of the coins are only worth face value. The Struck Through Grease Quarter might be worth a few dollars. https://www.error-ref.com/struck-th...-grease-oil/
