Hello, usually please post just one coin at a time and also show the reverse. Your pics look good. I think VAMS are for Morgan and Peace dollars, not cents. There are other books about cents, their grades, values and errors which others will recommend and online sites for information. I don't see any errors on you coins.

No such thing as a VAM on a cent, where did you get that info from? What you have are 3 nice album filler 1968S cents.

1st coin could go into an album, the other 2 can be spent IMO

Wow, Greasy Fingers, I haven't knowingly parted with ANY copper cent since 1982, and any S Minted cent since long before that.
Okay, call me a hoarder, so be it.

I was thinking about saying something towards the position of some copper hoarders....but knew someone would come along and say keep "there's 3 cents of copper in one" I'm trying to downsize my coins, so I'm still rolling them up for deposits. Heck I always throw some wheaties or steel cents, just so if a roll hunter gets them.

to the CCF Please post only 1 coin per thread, full images of both sides. Otherwise the discussion tends to get confusing. I agree there is nothing special to see here.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Agree with nickelsearcher (above).
I unloaded several thousand+ circulated memorial copper cents a few years ago--never looked back. Only speaking for myself....

Quote: but knew someone would come along and say keep "there's 3 cents of copper in one" And I figured I was opening myself up to a comment like that. But, I think it's slightly more than that, at least for me, even though it initially was all about the copper. It has morphed over the decades as the coppers noticeably dwindled in the circulating population. It's become more like hoarding a previous series, now. At 28K it could only be considered a hoard. But, they're all sorted and rolled by Year & Mint, and they don't take up a lot of room, LOL. Around 1K are Wheaties. BTW, that's 4¢ in copper today. But that doesn't really matter to me, I'm not a copper hoarder, I'm a copper US Cent hoarder. Nowadays I seldom handle cash, so the pile is pretty static, and out of sight. I could unload them at around 3X face value in bulk on ebay. But one of my survivors will likely take them to the bank for FV instead. A lot of them are in pretty good shape, having been picked from circulation in AU. If banks still handle Cent rolls, it will make for some fun picking by roll searchers.

Quote: ......opening myself up to a comment like that. Certainly not directed towards you but was used to support the feelings of many hoarders. Now you have me rethinking if I should save some (maybe the attractive ones but if they have verdigris I'm still rolling them) Also, I'd like to state I enjoy your contribution and opinions given on this site along with having ongoing discussions with you.
