Hello all! After lurking for a while, decided to join. I've been in and out of the hobby over the years. Recently trying to buy Semiquincentennial items from the Mint before scalpers get them.
So I've discovered various items from the Mint, on ebay, that some I knew about and others I never heard of and not seen in any guides, that seem interesting:
Presidential dollar Historical Signature sets
Innovation Dollar reverse proof individual coins
2012 Making American History Coin and Currency Set
Etc, etc.
Where can I find a list or book that has info on these products? Pricing can be found on ebay. It would be nice to find something comprehensive.
Even info on Blue and Brown Ikes, SBA dollar sets, years that the Mint issued collector rolls and bags for any given denomination.
Tried to buy old Mint catalogs online but hardly any out there. Maybe PDFs of all the catalogs?
I'm sure there are items I don't know about so, I must know! Thanks all

The Guidebook of United States Coins (aka the " RedBook") has added more information about what you are asking about over the last 10 years or so - it's worth checking out. The "Mega Red" edition of the " Red Book" might also be a good choice.

Thanks commems but unfortunately neither of those books mentions any of the sets or the collector rolls and bags I listed or the special Mint packaging for the Ikes, SBAs, and Innovation dollars.
Once I know something exists, its relatively easy to find more info about it online. I just wish there was some central source for all things US Mint.
By the way commems, I've been browsing your topics collection and you have an amazing wealth of knowledge thats taking me down way too many rabbit holes!
I have some questions but that'll be for other topics.

@Proof71: If you look a little more closely in the latest Red Book, you will find each of the sets you mentioned listed. I'm not saying that there are extensive background details about each, but basic info is included.

I've collected these "Lesser Known" sets for years, and have posted about them here on CCF. Maybe you'll find them useful/interesting:

- Index To Commemorative Coin & Currency Sets

- Index To US Mint Young Collector Sets/Editions

- Index To US Mint Coin And Medal Sets/Editions

I do have a comprehensive list of every ASE set, or any set that happens to have an ASE in it. If insisted, let me know. I can email you a link.
Only missing one on the list that commems made me aware of a few months ago.
I have all the sets on my list.

@commems: Yes thanks, lots of useful info about those sets. Much more than the Red Books. I think I'll just consult 'Commems Collection' in the future.
So I have the 2025 & 2026 Red Books along with the 9th & 10th Mega Reds. I may need a new eyeglass prescription but still found nothing on the 2012 Making American History Set nor the Presidential Signature Sets along with Spouse Medals(not the gold), in those books. But I did see your post about the 2012 MAHS which is the kind of info I'm looking for. As I've said, I just want to know what else is out there that I might be missing.

@Gilly: Sure I'd like to see your list. Can never have too much knowledge!

@Gilly: So the link wouldn't allow me to see the list. How many more sets have ASEs besides the ones listed in the Mega Red books?

He was able to read the list after sending through normal email.
I'm not sure what that book you mentioned has, plus I never actually counted mine, I should do that. It's a lot to take in.
