I had my first two 2015 pound coins in change over the weekend - both Rank-Broadley portrait. I've now had a complete set of all the regular 2015 Rank-Broadley coins from change, but only the 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p with the new portrait (5th series). Also recently had a pretty good fake 2004 Forth Bridge pound.

Got these today - my first of each type: Still not had a new design 2015 two pounds, or any 2015 commemorative coins.

I do like this new effigy, it's much better than the previous one I think.

At last - I got my first 2013 Spade Guinea reverse two pound coin in change today! Yay!
I was in my local branch of ASDA and I went to a self-service till. I put in a ten-pound note and was really excited when I saw it roll down the chute reverse-side-up!
I've never had a 2009 Kew Gardens 50p, a 2011 Edinburgh one pound or a 2012 Olympic Handover two pounds (or any 2015 commemoratives yet)...

Finally got hold of some BOB (Battle of Britain) 50p's last week ! (I have 5 in total, 2 show Cuds on the queens face, one shows evidence of a die clash and the other two are OK) No sign of any of the 2015 £2's yet, although there are some reports of people getting them. There are some 2016 Peter Rabbit 50p's out in circulation already, but only from certain places.... Quote: The Peter Rabbit 50p has begun to enter circulation, and visitors to The National Trust Wray Castle, Hill Top and Beatrix Potter Gallery locations, and The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction this [last] weekend will be among the first to find them!

I've just had some bad news. The branch of HSBC where I've had my account since I was 18 is closing in July! I used to get bags of 5p and 10p coins to sort through from there when the old shillings and florins were still in circulation. The staff know I collect coins and sometimes put commemorative £2 and £5 coins aside for me if people pay them in. The manager was a cashier there when I opened my account. It's a real shame!

My sis toured through England and picked up some circulated change for me.Got a few of the 2015s with the coat of arms parts on the reverse. It would be nice to get the rest of the set to complete the shield.I'll be keeping my ears open for another friend or relative headed that way.

So the mint are at it again... Releasing the Shakespeare £2's, but again only in certain places (Royal Shakespeare Company & Shakespeare Birthplace Trust shops in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This makes 2016 commemorative 50p's & £2's plus standard 10p's are out... and yet we're still waiting on the 2015 Commemorative design £2's !!

I work for a large retail company in the Midlands, so have access to a large number of coins for the last year my colleagues and I have been collecting Olympic 50p coins. We have managed to collect 2/3 sets each. We also collected a number doubles. So we have decide put them back in circulation, hopefully another collecter will find them.

Some of those are worth a bit on ebay (Football and Triathlon) The Olympics are definitely becoming harder to come across in circulation... so many people hoarding them. Got this today.. well, my old lady did... Second 2016 denomination (Other was a Cpl of 10p's) OH, and I had confirmation from the mint that no 2016 £1 coins will be circulated. They've made a point of saying the 'Last Round Pound' wouldn't be, but never said anything about the shield, so I decided to ask directly, although I never expected it to be circulated... it doesn't make sense.
