Here's both known types of 12-sided fakes. The 2018 type has been seen in 2019, and a 2020 is rumoured.

I was walking past my local seaside amusement arcade today and saw a 2018 10p coin obverse-up in one of the pusher machines. I had about £10 in 10p's left over from the coins I got from the bank a few weeks ago, and so I decided to try to win it. It was an 'M' for macintosh coin. Mintage 220,000. I reckon it probably cost me about £2 but it was fun to get it! I won't count it towards my noodling totals as I deliberately targeted that coin!

Not quite a change find, but a friend got this in change at her local post office and gave it to me - a Charles III 50p!

Yeah I got some of those today - really nice to be able to add them to the "class of 2022"...

Hi all, I went to the bank today and got out some bags of 5p's (4) , 10p's (2) & 50p's (1) I got some more 2021 5p's (7) & another 2022 5p, they've been put aside ready to swap. I do a lot of 50p bag searching (ordered a big bag of £250.00 today) & only get the other denominations when my bank don't have many 50p's. A few months ago (October 2022) I found a 2009 Kew Gardens 50p, so keep looking everybody there are still some good finds to be had. thanks, Merv

Does this count Today I got a USA 1985P quarter in a bag of 10p circulated coins from the bank. It's well circulated but it's a hole filler. Merv
