mcshilling: I have a rudimentary list for all Canadian coins (missing early gold, modern commemorative pieces, and other non-circulating legal tender). Send me a message on here so that I can attach the list in an e-mail.

This week I found my second 2000P nickel! In much better grade than the last! If I've found 2/40M, I'm sure that number could be accurate. I've yet to find a P mark with any other coin, though.

Hi bibd,
as far as I know,there are only 3 1936dot pennies existing.One changed hand at the last World Coin Auction from Heritage.As far as the 2000P,you can read on page 61 of the 2010 Charlton Catalogue (only 8 known in Mint State).If you want to include the commemorative issues,you need to add the 90th anniversary 1908-1998 Large Cent,the 50th anniversary of the Coronation 1953-2003 and the Canadian Mint selectively gold plated 2003.All 3 pennies are in Proof finish.Good work.

Libertad: is your ratio 2 in 40 million?

mcshilling: I've found 10 nickels - 2006 without mint mark or composition mark - After weighing them, I think they are a cupro-nickel. They are 4.6 grams, same as the CuNi from mid-80s. Pure nickels weigh 4.4 grams. Also, they are non-magnetic. Nowhere in Charlton or Krause does this info appear.. Maybe it's been here before.

Libertad, I was asking about the 2006 no mm cent steel and the P mm cent.

On the nickel I have 2006 no P -12; 2006 P -12; 2006 L 12;

the 2000P I have 7.

There are standard low mintage years/key dates of pennies such as small pennies (1922-26, 1930-31), with the 1925 being the rarest, although 1923 dated coins are the most valuable.
.

what is the mintage on the 1924? if I'm not mistaken, I found one in a bag of wheats I purchased in an auction a while back.. I will try and dig it out and get a pic posted

The 1924 is listed as 1,593,195 minted and a VF-20 is worth 15 dollars.

I also tried contacting BIBD about getting a copy of his spreadsheet, but no luck with forum email feature. Anyone have a file they could send me? Much appreciated.
