jbuck Moderator United States 187950 Posts	Posted 05/13/2010 4:58 pm No. And I would not say they are tainting the album. They are just in the wrong hole. Of course, Dansco has yet to recognize this. Which is why Eaglefoot has an extra page in that album for the satin finish P&D coins. In my opinion, the whole situation would be better if the entire Statehood Quarter run had satin finish coins in the mint sets (like the Presidential dollars). Then one could choose to do one way or the other. But as it stands, you cannot have a complete Statehood Quarter set in satin finish. We can't just trot down to the bank to get a roll each and every time a new Qtr. comes out like we did the State Qtrs. So....combined with some possible very low mintages....these Parks Qtrs. could be *VERY VERY* difficult in finding the biz. strikes...... .....and there's 11 years worth of THESE coming up ! ..... Just how hard will it be to acquire the biz. strikes ?.....that's what's been worrying me. No one wants to get ripped off by the Mint and pay for the "Two Roll Sets", plus shipping, each and every time a new Qtr. comes out ! (I'm not!) ......I'm just gonna "hope & pray" that I can find them in BU from roll searching.....both P AND D....(and that will be very hard !).....or, rely on some kind souls here on CCF.......don't really know. I'm sure somebody probably will anyway. Personally, I'm so aggravated still that I may just end my quarter collection right where it is and go back and work on upgrading my silvers and clads. Sure, I will keep them from circulation if I find them. Maybe I will do those as a date set? I do not know. What I do know is that the last few years has been rather painful adding coins from circulation. My continually decreasing use of cash is not helping. I have bought both of my daughters just a regular folding type album for their collection of State Quarters. I have some old dansco albums so I am somewhat familiar with them. If I wanted to set up an album(s) for every quarter with mint marks and territories, etc, what would be the recommended setup so that I will only have to do it once and have it complete? Aside from the normal Dansco album, does more need to be added to include the variations of strikes? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. John Report this Post to the Staff
RPT Pillar of the Community United States 921 Posts	Posted 05/15/2010 08:54 am John: You need to add an extra quarter page to the album if you want to collect both satin finish P & D issues from mint sets which started in 2005 and the normal business strike P & D issues.
