What do you guys think? The T and S of trust still there and the Collar in ok shape Vs. the damaged part. If it is PMD what could do that? Or is it a planchet error?

I think a lamination peel would have to be my guess as well. Cool roll find!

Definitely looks like a lamination error.

I wouldn't rule out PMD. Strange things happen to coins once they're out of the mint! But it does resemble some lamination I've seen too. Could you try getting a few more pics from different angles?
