Hello everyone, awesome finds everyone. I cracked 6 boxes this week which 4 produced W's. Plus 1 57 Quarter. When I picked up my second set of boxes for the week all four boxes were 2023's. Can't find W's in those, so I went to my local bank that rolls local business quarters. I traded the 2023 for 4 local rolled boxes and those four boxes produced 5 W's. I had one roll contain two W' s that is the second time that has happened to me. I searched 2 boxes earlier in the week which produced 1-W. For the week I pulled 1-Lowell, 1-American Memorial, 1-National Park, 1-Weir Farm and 2-Salt River Bay.

Nice finds, arby96!

BTW, I'm still looking for my first Lowell and first National Park... Next Tuesday (or Wednesday) I'll be doing my big buy of quarters for the month. I have yet to find a silver coin to date in 23,000 searched this year... however, my last search of March did produce a 2003-S proof from Missouri!

I went to my local Speedway gas station to buy my nicotine pouches and a couple roller bites for lunch, and here's the change I was handed.

Not even two weeks after I found that 1964 Washington quarter in a roll, I managed to find a silver quarter from a vending machine at work. This time, a more circulated 1963 Washington quarter. I guess the vending machine operator loaded the coin into the hopper and I was in the right place at the right time.

There must be some silver in my area that I need to hunt for.

Congrats Crazy_Monkey and SilverRoosevelt on your circulation silver finds!

As for me, I searched 4,800 quarters this week and did not find any silver nor W coins... however, I did find this nice 2020-S Tallgrass Prairie NIFC coin !

With a mintage of only 788,595, it's one of the rarest coins I've ever found in circulation.

Nice finds, everyone. In the last ten boxes, I've only been able to get two W quarters: a Salt River Bay and a Tallgrass Prairie.

On the plus side, I did find four silver quarters (1940-S, 1958-D, 1961-D and 1964-D). The 1964-D is gem AU. The 1940-S was found in a $1K bag deposited by a vending company. It's only the third silver quarter I've found in perhaps 50 of their bags; many of their machines probably reject silver.

Hit on a jackpot in my weekly bag of quarters in search of W's. Did find one W. But maybe a find of a lifetime for me. 437 total in this bag. Persistence pays off. Keep looking and you will find them.

Unbelievable. 437 silver quarters in one bag? What kind of ridiculous luck is that, and where can I buy it?
