Hit on a jackpot in my weekly bag of quarters in search of W's. Did find one W. But maybe a find of a lifetime for me. 437 total in this bag. Persistence pays off. Keep looking and you will find them.
OMG, carloscoria! Congrats! The present melt value on these coins is just south of $2K!Out of curiosity, did you find any better dates? Pre-1941 mintmarked or 1955-Ds?

Don't forget to check the 1956 through 1964 Philadelphia coins for the type B proof reverses. And the 1964-Ds for the type C clad reverse.

Of course no 55-Ds in that mix... still amazing, carloscoria! As for me, I've found a bunch since I last posted... I searched 9,200 Quarters this month and found a 2005-S Oregon Proof (not pictured), along with my first two silver finds of the year (1954-S, 1964-D), and 6 more Ws, including my first two Lowells! I am now only missing the 2020-W (DC)...

Great finds John77! Thanks, Errers and Varietys! After a very slow start to the 2023 year, the past two months have been quite good to me with quarters - 5 silvers, 9 Ws, and a proof amongst 14,600 coins is one of my best stretches EVER! Not to mention that I found two silvers in Coinstar a little over a month ago too.
