There's a special place in numismatic nirvana for impaired proofs.

Thanks, tencentpenny... I really like it too... bonus that I got it from my favorite teller.

lol. And I bet they all have quite interesting stories to tell.

I've found very few proofs (almost all impaired) via CRH outside of nickels and halves, save for one collection dump which included a number of non-impaired proof Lincoln Memorial cents and modern Jefferson nickels... I definitely appreciate finding the occasional impaired proof quarters, dimes, and cents - my well-circulated 1980-S LMC is one of my favs as it looks just like a normal copper coin, save for the mintmark.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Quarter-Roll-Searching
After a few years off from CRHing, I did a couple of quarter boxes. Two impaired proofs and two W mintmarks were the haul, plus I filled some holes in my book of recent quarters.

Something I enjoy about roll hunting is all you need is effort. In keeping with the law of averages, I went quite a while without significant finds and when I saw the flawless reeding I assumed it was a 2023.

Beautiful!

I take it this is the regular proof, not the 40% silver proof.
