Best find so far. Thought it was a '65, but looked again and got all excited.

Bit of a dry spell. I found a couple of zinc Lincolns and nothing else. But on Black Friday I was checking out at the grocery and heard the clink of coins from the machine. Waited around and found: Better than nothing.

That blood red 1941 cent is sweet. You should see if that white stuff will clean off with some water or acetone, maybe even take a soft brush with soap to it.

Yesterday's pile: Interesting token. And my third 1941 cent in a week. Otherwise not all that exciting. I'm still waiting for my first silver quarter.

It's been slow again, but yesterday I found 1 Silver Dime on the counter, 1 on the floor, and 1 in the reject tray. 3 Silver Dimes is nice.

That's pretty good! I haven't found anything in the trays. Do any employees of the store ever question your looking? I always hesitate to look or take the rejects.

Just started checking the Coinstars, and yesterday got my first finds, up top in the hopper. Two Lincoln cents, one copper and one zinc. Slow start, but nice to find something!

The very first time I checked a Coinstar machine I found the 1917 50 centimes coin (83.5% silver!) What a lucky find for my first Coinstar coin.

Found $1.78 worth of change in the reject tray. No silver or old coins.
1999 UK penny was the most interesting find.
4 quarters 4 dimes 1 nickel 32 Memorial Lincolns, 15 of them copper, rest zinc. 1 UK penny
42 coins in one day from one Coinstar check has to be a record, or at least close to it.

In all of my looking/checking Coinstar machines I have found a total of two Lincolns. They had something sticky on them laying of the counter.

Iv checked those things around 50 times and have never ever found anything at all and should just stop looking altogether, I guess I don't live in a good area for it but I get a lot from fountains.

Checked yeaterday, and the Coinstar was out of service.....it said the machine was FULL. Can't even imagine how much change they hold. Does anybody at Coinstar search the change INSIDE the machine? There was a dime and a penny and a large button battery in the upper hopper :-)
