Nice find BAB! That matches what I've found over the course of about 6 months!

Our finds this week: Tuesday - I found a sticky zlinc Thursday - My wife found a 1943 Lincoln - Philadelphia. Saturday - My wife found a zlinc Sunday (today) - I found five zlincs, a recent Jeff nickel and a recent Roosevelt dime. Twenty Cents in all, only one of the zlincs was damaged. I'm surprised all the rest were rejected. Not all that exciting, but very active.

After a long drought at the Coinstar machines, I found a Chuck-E-Cheese token and a 1995 Mexico 20 centavos coin today!

A few days with nothing. Today was interesting, if not very valuable. The 2010 dime is just there for comparison to the worn dime. That one has to be a contestant for the ugliest coin of the year award. I couldn't tell for sure if it was clad or silver until I scratched the edge and saw copper. The 1919 is my oldest Coinstar find.

Three foreign coins for Halloween. The 1 - whatever was on the floor in plain sight and the other two in the reject tray. I've been so busy with other stuff that this is about the extent of my coin collecting lately. That will change at the end of November, or so, and I'll do some roll hunting again.

@BigAppleBucky...
I'm pretty sure it's 1 Jiao from China (If I'm reading the coin correctly).

Quote:When I went to buy my lottery tickets today, I asked the clerk if they had any coin dollars. They did and I left with 5 1979 SBA's. Nice!

Yeah, never checked a Coinstar 'til I saw this thread. Probably check 5 or so every week, and usually find something in at least 1 of 10 checks. Yesterday my 6yo son and I found 36 cents. A Canadian quarter, dime, and a US 1930 wheatie in F+ shape. Why does the machine reject wheat pennies? This penny looked good. Maybe too thin from wear? Don't forget to check the hoppers too. Sometimes a coin stays up top. Found a penny in the top last week...1970d penny, and it just happened to be a hole filler in the book we are working on.

Another .35 Canadian tonight. Not sure how Canadian money spends in other parts of the country, but here in Central NY it's easy to spend. All stores accept it.

Slow couple of weeks. Cumulatively, 2 clad dimes, one Jeff nickel, 3 zinc US cents, a Canadian penny, and this token: I suppose it's some sort of play money or generic token where no one company wanted to lay claim to it. I assume the RWM refers to the manufacturer.

Neat token, I don't know much about them, but some are worth a fair amount. Look into it and see if you can find anything.
