Well I sold my 1794 Large Cent to help finance my Early Commemorative habit, so here's the new matriarch of my collection: 1798 Large Cent

It was the Hudson - and a beauty it is! Sent off to the graders yesterday. Next -----> Old Spanish Trail

Oh, cool! *learned something new, consulting my Red Book here* I just picked up Long Island (most common) on a recent trip to New York, seemed like a fitting souvenir. =) Wow, that's a rare one! Can't wait to see it! Will it go up in the commem section or grading section?

It's already up in the Commemorative Section under the title "Half Moon Over Pensacola".. Great get as a raw coin. Two to go in the series, but they're painful!

I guess I will have to dig up my 10 or so Large Cent and see which one is the oldest.
