I'm somewhere in the 8 pages of billing information. You would think that they would streamline taking my money into one page.
They do.

Open an account and give them your cc info.

Go to the product page and place your order.

Confirm and you're done.

I did have all of that set in already, but it still dragged me through each page to confirm everything. Maybe it's because I haven't ordered in a year?

I had an order go through but it says back ordered. Does that mean they will mint more than the 27,000?

parkquarters: The Mint accept CC..... and if you have no interest for 12 months then you will have plenty of time to pay off or to flip for profit.... just a thought.

Got mine over the phone. Took about an hour and a half to get through. The lady on the other end was very friendly and helpful.

Some have sold on ebay for as low as $399 but $500 seems like the going rate.

Jeez, parks, you, of all people with your alias should be at the forefront of this ordering madness. Like Bruce says, you could charge up a handful of coins, flip them to pay for a 'free' coin for yourself. Even making a $100-$150 profit right out of the starting gate is reasonable. Who knows how high these things will fetch in the short term? Good luck!

Im thinking how much of a difference is the method of manufacture ie (vapor blasting technique) compaired to business strike vs satin finish witch is not much as well as the $100 difference for each coin vs the ap's sets at current spot price.Witch will change for the 2011 sets but how much,We will see as they come out from the ap's.As well as being able to by a whole set all at once from the ap's and maybe not being available do to my uncertain schedule each time the mint comes out with one at a time for the nm versions! we all want to be satisfied with our purchase when its all said and done with I would like to have the p's but it has to make sense other that the 6k mintage difference I could be wrong we shall see thanks

The P mm is a huge factor. Maybe offsetting lack of the P is shiny PL coins vs. vapor blast.

Prudential still selling (total is $928, since the shipping is $65):

PQ: The 2011 bullion's mintage are not 33K or 27K, they are 125K or something..... that's a big different.

Also, look at the current offer of APMEX for the 2011 ATB pair.... if you are to buy w/ CC then it's $296 + shipping vs the P'mint and you can see the P'mint not only cheaper but also rarer ===> even if you don't like/want to collect, you can easily trade for the bullion coin anytime. Just my Two Cent in return for your great contribution to this thread.

To put it in perspective for you parks, the Gettysburg & Glacier coasters I ordered from APMEX today were $287.85 each and the Hot Springs coin for $284.90. So the spot + markup for bullion is right around what the mint is charging for the numismatic version.

The surface of the uncirculated coin is what the mint used to call "matte proof," the 1998S silver Kennedy half in the RFK commemorative set was the first for a silver coin, and most of the recent uncirculated silver commems have this finish.
