I collect a lot. My big collection is car brochures. I've been collecting those for over 40 years and have a huge library. Every year when the new models come out I visit the new car showrooms and gather all the brochures. I have them going back to the 1920's, and some can be quite valuable. I have to get each brochure for every car sold in the USA domestic and foreign, and have been gathering Canadian domestic brochures since 1973.

Also collect 1:18 scale diecast cars. Have several hundred on display. Those take up a lot of shelf space.

Television DVD box sets. Have too many to count.

Used to collect vintage Sony Walkmans, but stopped with that. Also like souvenir buildings and building visitor brochures. Have quite a few of those. I've purchased replicas of all the famous buildings I've visited.... CN Tower, Sears Tower, Empire State Building, World Trade Center (from 1980), GateWay Arch, just to name a few.

The walls of my house are ready to burst at the seams.

I have a collection of mustang hot wheels, 8 guitars (nothing really rare), baseball and football cards from the 80's, and ex-girlfriends.

I collect oddball sports cars. I own two American Motors Amx's including a 2-seater, both cars have 300 hp Amc engines.
I also dig antique bottles.

I hunt and collect arrowheads from the streams in our area. I usually get together with a couple of friends on Sundays after Church and go hunting.
I probably have around 600 to 700.

My grandfather gave to me several years ago an almost complete collection of Luxembourg stamps starting with #1. I have filled some of the affordable holes and keep it complete with the new issues.

Old radio programs from the 1930's to 1950's. I'm mainly partial to westerns and detective programs. At last count I have 4,145 programs. Some of those are more modern though including all 1,404 programs of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater (1974 - 1982).

I do have a watch collection. Alas, none working, most are old family owned pieces, ranging from perhaps 10 to 80 years old. They were just kept, instead of being thrown out to become landfill. I am reasonably sure that this 'hoard' is of little value.

But I do have a grandfather clock. This particular piece came out of the estate of Edmund Resch, in 1930.
Edmund Resch came from a family of brewers. Some older Aussies in the CCF may have heard of Resch's Pilsener. Resch's was taken over by Tooheys Breweries in the 1960's, and is now part of Carlton United Breweries, of which Fosters and Crown Lager are products.

The clock itself is an English farmhouse clock and was originally sold in Dover, England, in 1795. It has an anchor escapement.

USED to collect:
Stamps (half-heartedly)
Beer mats
Cigarette packets
Classical CDs (I mean the ones with strings, woodwind, brass etc.)
Matchbooks and matchboxes, with my mother. On her passing I gave them away to an avid collector to make sure they would be loved and cherished (he was kind enough to make a generous donation to a charity in her memory).

NOW? Apart from coins and notes of course, occasionaly, my thoughts.
