OK Bill...I figured I would post some of my finds for you. All these coins were pulled from rolls. I have many more finds I just do not have pictures of them as of yet. I love seeing everyone's finds. The pictures keep the CRH juices flowing. Quite a few pictures...enjoy. 1945 Cent Double struck through thread: 1938 Nickel: 2009P-1DR-89 REV (Coppercoins.com)Doubled Thumb 1996 dime from Specimen Set found in roll: 1964 Nickel XWL (found in roll) 1892 IHC (found in roll) 2006 No P No ML Magnetic 2007D Prison Cent 1998 WAM I have 2 2000 WAM's as well. Just need to get pictures for them. 2004 lamination error? 1949 A to Denticle 1974 Clip Planchet 1996 LMC Feeder Finger Damage? The lines are raised from the surface. Notice how the disappear behind the column and appear again in the bay. 1981 Cent Partial Collar Broadstrike with Off-Center REV A few different 1964 extra spines. I have a few others I have not taken pictures of yet as well. 1968 Extra Spine/twig? 1965 Pointed 5 Small Bead (P5SB) 1970 Canada Cent (I like the MDD on this coin. Most features on the OBV have some degree of MDD) 1975 Lamination Peel? 1979 Cent I thought it might of been a extra eyeball as it in incuse on both sides of the anomaly. A fellow CCF member said it was a gas bubble. I'm still curious as I did not think a gas bubble would be incuse on the edges? 1955 LWC Die chip on left stalk 1942 LWC Grease Filled Die OBV & REV I hope you enjoyed the pictures. If I ever get the time I will take pics of more coins and post for viewing. Keep your pictures coming. Have a great day and Happy Hunting!

Those are some nice finds from roll searching. Nice find on the 1964 Nickel XWL. I have never found one going through rolls - you must have been excited.

It was very exciting to turn the coin over and see the XWL as big as life. It is not in the greatest of condition but surely is a place holder until I get something better. I'm still waiting to find a rotated die from either country and a RPM from US cents 1989 and older. I only get my boxes of coins from Canadian banks but living in a border town...I get a decent amount of US coinage in them. Makes things interesting. I have found over 80 US S mint coins since I started 16 months ago. I enjoy the hobby. Keep the pics and finds coming. Enjoy your day.

^^^ Regardless of the condition of the coin, it is very hard to pull one from circulation. A found 1964 XWL would bring more joy to me than a bought one when I looked though the album.

Very true. I love to find a coin that I want for my collection. I do not really have a direction I'm going as of yet for my collection. I search what I can afford to search at the time. I also Metal detect and Hope to find a few coins each year to add to my collection. I'm not in the hobby for a investment...more for the thrill of the hunt and the enjoyment it brings in the hours spent. Do not get me wrong...everyone hopes to hit the motherload and find that one special coin. Until that day...I will plug along at my current pace and just enjoy the journey. Happy Hunting all.

I mentioned in another post. I found two 1948 Pointed, Small Denticle. I found a 1965 Small Bead, Pointed 5. 1985, Pointed 5. My best find ever was probably buying a 1891 C2 LL SD for like 2 dollars off a dealer. Also, getting a 1859 N9 in XF condition buying a random lot off of ebay.

Nice coins Jack.
The only coins that I have bought so far are some of the .50 coins I have. Nothing rare or expensive. I'm trying to start a collection of .50 Canada and US. Living in Canada....its hard to get .50 coins. Banks do not carry them unless there was a customer dump and you happen to get there at the rite time. Same for US .50 coins. Maybe some day I will get started on them again.
Some of the other finds I do not have pics of yet: 2 x 1965 Pointed 5 Large Beads 5 x 1985 pointed 5 errr...drawing a blank. LOL! Oh well. I will list more and take pics soon.
Have a good night. Happy Hunting

Hey Bill!
You find so much! Wow!
I used to search a lot before. I would search $5-10 a week. I never got that much. I have a lot but not that much.
When I was working at a Cafe in Quebec City in 2008, a customer handed me 3 1964 Canadian cents UNCIRCULATED!! I was like... where did you get that?!?! The store next door crack a fresh roll! That year was a busy year (400 year) so I guess banks were digging at the bottom of the vault.
Man!
I even scored 5 rolls myself. My manager kept an eye on them. 1956, 1961, 1962, 1967, 1968.
Truly lucky.
