I opened a whole box of dimes today, I snagged ONE 1970 , one 1965 and one 1967, one 1913. I cannot believe how rare the 70's are now. It's just about impossible to pull them from circulation for beginner sets and what not.

By comparison I found TWO UK five pence coins... yes. Based on my crappy sample size, the UK five pence coin is in greater circulation than 1970 dimes.

On LMC (Lincoln Memorial Cents) a "Prison Cent" in this case is refering to the Die Clash of the Reverse Memorial building on to the Obverse of the coin. You can see the bays of the memorial building on the Obverse of the 2007 LMC. It looks like Lincoln is behind bars. Like in prison. The lighting on the coin is a bit tricky and I apologize if it is hard to see the clash. There is also a clash of Lincolns head on the reverse of the coin which is also a bit hard to distinguish with the lighting. You can see some of the reverse clash below the bottom step center of the reverse ans well as in some of the bays.

Hey Bill. Pick up some Verdi Care. I believe that is what it is called. I believe it was developed by a forum member. From what I have seen...it has produced some nice results. I will most likely be ordering a bottle or two this coming week. I was going through my loose coins and putting them in rolls by dates. I pulled quite a few that can use a good touch up and neutralization before storage. Verdi care seems to be up to the job. I need to get my hands on some plastic coin roll holders. The only local Coin Dealer (I use the term Dealer loosely) in my area is a pawn shop. They have some plastic tubes for .79 each. I'm not sure if I'm ready to shell out $80 for the tubes at this time.

Your Welcome North of 49.

Congratz WildBill. Always nice to find one. To bad they do not realize prices they did a year ago but still nice to find a hard to find coin. Have you managed to lay your hands on a 2006P non Magnetic as of yet? I'm still looking for that one. Since I started collecting Oct 2009...I have found 2 x 2006P and 7 x 2006 No P No ML Magnetic cents. I have yet to find a 2007 Non Magnetic or a 2010 Magnetic. Well I better get back to searching my box of cents. Hoping for a new discovery for me. Happy hunting all.

Oh yeah...Wild Bill. I got your email and will respond to you soon. Sounds like something we can work out. Have a good night.
