i found this looking for pointed 65's but what is the step look on the leaf and it is on the 5 also?

I think it would be fuller on the tip of the leaf if it was Machine Doubling. I think it is Die Deterioration.
Of course if it is, it would be the first one that I got right.

I don't think Machine Doubling (MD as I am told it is referred to) would cause this effect on both sides of the top of the 5.

I'm in the deterioration camp on this one, too.

MD doesn't seem to be multi-directional and isolated to the center like that.
