Quote: I didnt ask for your opinion on the matter because I'm 100% postive on this coin its either an error or variety. You most certainly did.... Quote: Would it be a good idea to send this coin to ANACS. Even though it doesn't have a question mark at the end, it is indeed a question. You just didn't like the answer.

As far as the cost of sending them in, have you tried going to ANACS website and downloading their submission form? Last I checked, the prices were on there.

Ok then I apparently asked about this coin. When the pictures are done today everyone will see what I see. Unfortunately no one can see what I see yet. I've never sent a coin anywhere to be graded before so thats why I was asking.

Cud Wild - Congratulations - you just earned a spot on my ignore list. I will henceforth ignore your existence here except to correct misinformation you give other collectors who do want correct answers. Do not message me, do not email me, do not speak to me.

I bought a few maginfying glasses and gonna experiment in making some kind of scope. I'm going to make each magnifying glass about 4 inches apart from eachother then maybe just maybe Ill actually be able to get a closeup for once. The photographer said theres not much she could do with the camera I had to get the kind of photos I was asking.

I think I'll just stick with my $100 point and shoot with my 10X loupe held up to the lense.
I just need to work on lighting.

I need to do something because this is driving me nuts not getting good photos of a coin. Then when people say they cant see anything it makes me even more frustrated because I'm trying. Coppercoins and liveandie are right the only way I could get a good photo is with scope. I guess well see what happens with my dollar store magnifying glasses. Unfortunately I dont have much money so I cant really afford to go out and buy what I need.

Ambitious Cud Wild. I've never made a microscope, I have, however, built several telescopes. Can be daunting and expensive to get the right lenses to work together. Probably cheaper in the long run to just buy a scope!

Sorry to burst your bubble this "window doubling" has been discovered and talked about for over one year.

I almost got it, probably today sometime Ill have a picture clear enough to see the windows and window frames in all the pillars and on Abes coat. I came to the conclusion its a DDR. So that means theres more of these out there. So all I can say is pay close attention to all the pillars in the building. Another thing is you cannot see this with the naked eye. As a matter of fact it looks like a normal coin until you compare it to another and see somethings not right. Thats when I glassed up on it and started seeing things in the pillars. When I glassed closer I started to see the details in the pillars. I could compare all the details to the window to the right. Thats when I realized that the same windows were on the pillars also. Theres other details on this coin I cant really figure out yet but the windows I'm certain of.

The only problem is I cant capture the wild doubling in the pillars right. Id like to get this coin known somehow. But without the greatest photo it seems pointless. This is my first double die find ever and thats a thrill for me. I'm just glad I was able to capture some of the more minor doubling. But the wild doubling is from all the windows. If you look closely and long enough you can make out some of the window frames and such.
