Hi guys, just had a couple of emails from Pierre. First and foremost he said that if he knew what the 64 and 65 were actually worth when I purchased, he would never of sold me the 66 for the price he did. He offererd me $2000 for the coin he sold me cause he said he still has three people wanting to buy a MS 66 to which he has no more of these coins and wish's that he did!
He told me that two of his MS66"s were sold for $2500 and $2550. He didnt say what the other one sold for.
He also said that he had more back door offers from ebayers than actual offers from actual bidders.
I will keep you posted should I hear more.

That is one amazing tale darryldarryl. Now you must be quite pleased where you ended up, now that most of the dust has settled. However that only accounts for 5 coins $8200 plus for four total. Did he not start out with 8 coins ?

does not account for all 8 coins Pierre had?
a 64 and 65 were actually purchased on ebay for $1225 & $1950,
He sold two of his MS66 were for $2500 and $2550 and sold other one to 'DealDeal' for $1200;
this is 5 of 8, so wonder what other 3 coins were and sold for?
Think r...9 got more off ebay, besides the 64 he won on ebay for $1225?
THE BIG QUESTION is did Pierre have a ms67?

I just got mail from him and he says that he bought a bulk lot of 2006P and obtained 8 of the non magnetic ones of which he has 6 left.

He is not trying to keep this a secret. He isn't hiding the fact.

Yep there all gone.
He originally had 8 and sold 2 quite some time ago and had 6 when he started listing on ebay
MS64 to "r**9 the 2006 penny bandit" $1225
MS65 to "The penny Bandit SLAYER" $1950
MS66 to DD $1200
MS66 to private sales at $2500 & $2550
MS66 undisclosed as per smallcentguy = 6 TOTAL
Littlemoney I am feeling warm and fuzzy at the moment. I couldnt be happier with the end result.

I didn't realize 2 were gone before he started pn ebay. I am guessing they were sold at lower prices...I think he was surprised by how well these coins went. Obviously he thought he was making a good sale on the MS66 to DD at $1200.....

Exactly otherwise he would never have let a 66 go at the price he did.

Being in the right place at the right time is the key to any deal. If you don't get it the first time around, there is always next time. So until the next time we see one of these pennies for sale.

I learned from the best DD = Mr. DealDeal,
So as soon as someone list another 2006P Non Magnetic cent and they don't know what they have...
I will have them remove listing and I will do buy-it-now for $25

Well, this thread now saw 8 of the 71 coins in the ICCS population report. At those prices realized, some of the other 63 coins should be crawling out of the woodwork in the next year or so....
