Gut feeling says that after tomorrow evening r**9 the 2006 penny bandit will be out of comission for a while. I think this auction is going to suck alot out of his pocket. Of course this is based on the scenario that he wins. No problem come and pick up the coin in person. I will have a hot coffee waiting and or a cold beer, which ever you prefer. By the way I will need you to pick up 1 gallon of weed killer for me before you come as the company I want to buy from in Cadilac Michigan will not deliver across the border.

I doubt many people would spend the $50.00 to get one of these graded by an American company, so I would imagine that there aren't as many graded by firms down south. Also, from my experience, it seems that people are often less concerned about getting modern coins certified because there is less chance that they have been faked/cleaned, etc. It's hard to say how many of these coins are actually out there, since there are also a fair number not attributed by ICCS as magnetic/nonmagnetic. I have seen a bunch of these coins on ebay. Has anyone bothered to ask these people whether or not the coins are magnetic or not?

2006 P is the norm. If they graded a 2006 P non magnetic it would be graded as such. I have access to their most recent updated POP reports on line anytime. Prior to submitting your coin for grading you have to state on the form what the coin is...Canadian 1 cent 2006 P Non Magnetic modern error. Once graded and authenticated, that is what will appear on your Hard Slab and in the POP report. Their report just shows 4 - 2006 P graded 1 cent coins

Hi dd, I do not have one but know where to get that coin (2006P non mag,)My problem is the price as Trend is showing $400 for a 64 and $700 for a 66.Charlton has it at $1000.I doubt the guy will sell his 66 for that price now. I also think that this coin trend will be lowered in the futur as the 2006 magnetic was. This is a case where you'r dumm if you do and dumm if you don't.

I guess the sale will fall a little short of my anticipated Million Dollar mark. Oh well!

I feel bad it won't make the Million Dollar mark for you darryldarryl, but alas it is out of the range where I will ever own that coin.
