Earle,

in 1988 there were some coins minted with the reverse of '89. They are the same reverses that you look for in '98-00 for WAM's. Not sure why this one isn't just called a WAM reverse, too.

Anyway, you can find this reverse on '88-D coins as well, but they seem to be a little more difficult than the Phillies to find.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the distinguishing feature of this die variety the serif on the G? Because if so it sure looks like Hybrid has one.
