So it took me a while but I just finished my NGC MS 69 Silver Eagle set. I had so much fun looking for them I was sad to get my 2011 in. So now I need a new TPG silver set to work on. anyone have any good ideas.

It really depends on your collecting scope and budget. If you are sticking to issues that are tied to bullion value, you could try to assemble the complementary proof ASE set in 69, with or without the hideously expensive '95-W. Other sets in this vein include 1/10th or 1/4th oz. AGE, modern commemorative silver $1 in proof or uncirculated, or the bullion ATB 5 oz. in MS69DMPL.

A great set to complete quickly and for not much more than bullion price is the Franklin half set. There are 35 coins in all, and most are near spot. Even affordable in MS grades and great for the collector on a budget. If you have more time and investment cash on your hands, I would suggest a Walking Liberty half set. They would fit nicely next to your Eagles as the obverse is the same.

that is awesome advice. that is what I will do next. Franklins, Walking Libertys, and the silver commemoratives. but with those I have to get a list of which are silver. I dont want to make the mistake of geting the wrong stuff. anyone know where I can find a list.

why don't you try a Perth Mint collection.the lunar series are very collectable and there all 1oz coins like the silver eagles.

All Franklin and Walking Liberty halves are 90% silver, any commemorative dollar is also 90% silver excluding the bicentennial Eisenhower one is clad the other is 40% silver.
