Hey Guys, this is my first post!

A couple days ago while I was going through my Silver Collection I noticed one of the mint sets had broken it seal and over decades air had oxidized the coins, execpt for the Nickel. The dollar, half dollar, quarter and dime had taken on a color of dark purple. To me personally the color adds some character, but I would still like some other opinions.

What are the metals in the alloys of these coins?

I like the toning effect as well as long as it is not too extreme. I had a 1 oz. walking liberty silver bullion coin sitting in the plastic pouch since I bought it in 1988 and after two decades it has become almost black.
Not pretty at all

Depends on the photo of course but your coins appear to be baked just right - a nice golden brown.

Those coins look like they have toned nicely. To me, nicely toned coins are much more interesting than blast white coins. Great coins!
