Might as well add one more. Roll of 50% bi centennial canadian quarters. Another item inhereted from the old man How are you able to tell if there %50...I was at the understanding there was no real way to tell the 50% and 80% apart. Same weight 'n all. Just courious as I've been buying quite a few centenial coins off ebay and there buy/sell price to me seems as if everyone presumes there 80%.

Just got in the mail They actually messed up my order, and after sending the 1/10th oz they sent me, they fixed the order and just got this in. I still have not received my reimbursement for shipping, but I am sure they will after I give em a call and make sure everything is ok. They messed up, but still a fantastic company! I would definitely recommend ordering from silvertowne. MS69 was under 500$, while MS70 was almost 700$ lol. But cool coin, I always wanted one, so I splurged! Most of the money came from selling some old text books

Man I love this thread. My silver stack way too small to post here. Quote: Every post MUST contain a picture of a precious metal *Edited to follow Rules.

They switched half way through production from 80% to 50% Well, you can, if you do a sound test. This guy does a pretty good video on how to determine that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZdxf655fe4BUT!, the thing is, even if I did that, seperated them, the local coin store will still only by them at %50. I asked It is what it is I guess. I'm at work, but I'll post pics of what I got this last few weeks shortly!

Here is my most recent silver purchase, that arrived yesterday. It's not a lot of silver, but my stack is not very large right now so this is just the beginning. The pictures, aren't great. They were taken with my phone, and there is a bit of glare on the flips. I thought I would post here to try and get this thread going again.

Beautiful coin. Probably has a large premium though.
