So how long and how many times did you keep taking it out to look at it? Warning buying silver or gold can be a serious addiction. This is actually a bullion round. It's a Mercury dime. Waiting for one more purchase to arrive. Think my next purchases will be an ASE and junk silver. Not sure where to get the junk silver though! I've always liked the design of the old Mercury dime, even if the official name is more like "winged liberty" or some such. It looks like Mercury to me too! APMEX has a very good selection of 90% silver coins and in various grades so it is easy to buy ones that have the look you want. Other dealers sell 90% silver coins too but I haven't seen any that have APMEX's variety. I got some Walking Liberty halves from them that are in XF condition and look terrific. I'm starting to like these new silver rounds that imitate older US coins. At first, I didn't like the buffalo, then someone had em for a tad below spot so I went for it.
