I just couldn't stand looking at a cardboard box for several year or decades. I think I sold mine for like $3700 in pocket and traded 3 tenth AGE for the one set that the two keys came from.

Quote: I'm still sitting on my unopened box of five, the most recent one sold seems to have gone for $4300 plus shipping $4300 for an unopened box of five? Where? At that price I might have to sell mine...

I'm sure a bunch of those 2000 68 and below PCGS coins and 700 or so NGC coins have been converted into original Government package sets. There will never be a shortage of something that can be created so easily.
I've made two nice looking sets this way....

I'm also still sitting on my unopened box. It only has one set in it, but perhaps that will be a selling point in the future? Well, I can at least tell myself that.

All of the reverse proofs I had came back ngc 70 - and the S mint ones - looks like several of them all had spots on the back where the dies were dirty or something. Still graded 70 on a few and 69 on the rest - but it was tough to tell the difference.
One set I picked up had the W as a 68 - but it looks the same as the 69's.

I opened, then sold 3 for $625 each. I'm now offering the last two for sale and will now see how to do that on this site...

An unopened box is definitely has a few pluses.. ...all 5 coins are eligible for the 25th Annie label ...if you're a PCGS fan then it is probably First Strike eligible (depending on shipping date and importance to you personally) ...most important...it has not been picked over and created with low grade coins. This, in my mind, is the biggest plus for the unopened box

agreed morgans dad let everyone else send their remaining sets in haha! foxwoods good point you made about opened OGP sets - they can be recreated with 68s since I have seen you can buy empty OGP boxes. So our sealed boxes are the creme of the crop !
