Hello all, I need help on attributing the VAM on this 1921 Morgan. I think it is a D2 reverse but can not find the VAM #. Also what happened to the denticles. They look double and this is on both obverse and reverse of the coin and almost go completely around. Thank for the help.

First off ,, you are indeed correct, its
a 16 berry or D2 reverse..the 21 series is very hard to know unless you really work at it, its full of very minor points, Super Dave may have a clue with what little you've to go by..

Here are some more pics of some things that may help. I looked at every 1921 D1 and D2 obverse and reverse and I still can not find anything similar. Thank you for the help.

I've been beating my head against this coin for days. My apologies for not replying - I'm currently cursed with an atrocious signal and posts have to be infrequent - but rest assured people are thinking about this one.

There just isn't a whole lot to go on with 1921's, aside "smoking-gun" attributes, and excepting the small crack at the base of the neck you coin has none. A dozen 1921 VAMs could show this doubling.

All the more fascinating, for that.

Lemme see what I can do.

Thank you all for the time. I have as well looked and looked but can not see any that seem to match. I thought at first 3-5 different(j/k) VAMs in one(HAHA, not possible) but I know better just from the great reading and great online info. I appreciate all the help any of the masters have done and any responses that have been given.
