Nice rpm! This isn't the grading section, but in my opinion there are enough marks on it to take it not come back as BU.  ça va bien aller

The mint mark position appears to be different than RPM-001
|

Thanks for the responses... If there is a difference in mint mark position, it is very slight. First photo is my cent, Second is Viata. I appreciate all the "teaching" from you guys. It's actually fun doing all the research.   |

A possibility is Wexler's 1948-S 1˘ WRPM-011, check the marker descriptions for the different obverse and reverse stages (maybe stage C?) here: http://doubleddie.com/1655179.htmlThe mint mark position looks like it might be correct but I can't make out any markers.

Not a match on any of the listings on V.V.  So it maybe not listed yet, or too minor to list? The Upper west area is the only area I would consider a RPM.  Edited by coop

The one thing on RPMs that can't be different is the MM position.

Thanks.. I guess I'm just too old to understand. The mint mark in all areas appears to be a re-punch. It looks like Coneca RPM-003 0r RPM-004. Even Wexler WRPM-008. I do, however, appreciate and respect your knowledge. I'll keep looking and reading and maybe someday I'll get it right.

I think so this coin it is a new RPM. The markers I see on this coin do not fit what we know at this moment. Has some similarity with others but do not fit the study.
