Ghost New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 04/02/2009 01:02 am I'm trying to document a collection that has been built and sitting around for decades. I am doing the gold coins now, and see images posted using two or more different styles. Is there a preferred, or standard for this. I can produce the image either way, but don't know if either style helps or hurts if we would decide to use these images for sales. I will upload two of my images to show the different styles. Ghost New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 04/02/2009 10:18 pm Well, I'm just going to have to live with shooting through plastic. 95% of what I have is proofs and BU's sealed in some sort of plastic. It's a problem, and no one cure solves them all. Report this Post to the Staff

I'd use the first style if I were presenting them for sale. Buyers are going to like the black/white contrast better. It tends to be "expected" for Proofs, and if you can accurately depict a BU coin with the same contrast, it will really grab the eye. Report this Post to the Staff
